I AM BUT A SMALL VOICE(A Prayer for the Typhoon Victims)

Dear God, our Almighty Father in heaven
To You are praises and honor from Your children
We give Your beautiful name glory through living
For You are our Creator who made everything

You are the omniscient God, the all-knowing God
Who recognizes all our needs in every day
You are the omnipotent God, powerful God
Who strengthens everyone to keep moving and pray

You are the omnipresent God, pervasive God
Who supplements us with his love and full presence
We cannot comprehend Your love that is so broad
Your power that cannot be grasped by our senses

Lord Jesus, we humbly ask for Your forgiveness
For all the bad things we have done these past few days
We cannot hide a sin for You are a witness
We pray that by this we will see You face to face

Our highest gratitude to You Lord God
For the gift of life and for the abundant love
Love that You are giving us which is never fraud
The blessing of life that You sent us from above

Lord God, our nation has faced another disaster
A typhoon which wrecked the roads and the hearts
It bothers my spirits oh my dearest Master
That people might forget You as their strong Father

God, accompany them to survive this ordeal
They are broken, I know, but You are by their side
You will help them survive, happiness they will feel
They will be rising and their needs will be supplied

We fervently ask You to grant us our prayers, Lord
You are the only one capable to do so
We are here, Lord God, to pray this in one accord
In this calamity oh Lord, let Your goodness show
