Always excited for the last hour
For it is a subject full of power
Whenever Ma'am May Atendido speaks
I always see the best teaching technique

We already had several lessons
English topics with numerous add-ons
Things that we should always use in our lives
To prepare us when our turning point arrives

There is no room for too much wariness
For it will be changed into confidence
Learn how to dance and jive with the music
Whether upbeat, pop or just the basic

In our study, we follow a syllabus
Our lessons congruent  like a rhombus
Each day we learn many things, very new
Lessons that are factual and always true

First in line are the verbals
It is totally different from the modals
You see them as verbs but they are actually nouns
Like in the birthday parties, we see them as clowns

Gerunds,Infinitives and Participles are what we discussed
Gerunds are nouns in -ing form, we almost hushed
Infinitives use the preposition to
Participles may use the present participle and the past too!

The next topic should not be misinterpreted
For their meaning is different from what is said
They are called the Idioms, used in a figurative way
Connotation instead of denotation as what they say

Our subject introduced the greatest playwright
Sometimes we read his works with fright
But now, we read without any fear
Because we've got No Fear Shakespeare

Romeo and Juliet was the greatest love story every told
A very tragic love story, read and behold
The romance that captured everyone's heart
We acted it in a play, and topped the chart

Mercutio taught me how to express
but sometimes he really doesn't make sense
Friar Laurence wanted peace
He wished that the feud will cease

Romeo and Juliet, the lovers of the feud
They married secretly for they thought it was a should
In the end they met a tragic event
To heaven they were both sent

Lastly we discussed about tenses
You think it's easy and senseless?
But it is the foundation of the English language
The language we all use and doesn't age

She speaks with meaning
We listen with understanding
This is the best way of teaching
Discovering, applying and performing
